American Drilling (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an internal field-reporting and equipment-management system used by our employees and field staff. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how our text-message (SMS) notification program works.
Information we collect
- Contact details — the name and mobile phone number of employees and staff who use the system or receive notifications.
- Operational data submitted through our field apps — daily field reports, crew and hours, equipment status, job details, notes, and photos.
How we use your information
- To operate our internal field-reporting and equipment-management system.
- To send operational notifications by email and text message (SMS) — for example, confirming that a daily field report was submitted, or alerting staff to an equipment status issue.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely for American Drilling’s internal business operations.
Text message (SMS) program
- Recipients are American Drilling employees and staff only — no customers or members of the public. Enrollment happens after hiring is complete, is entirely voluntary, and is never a condition of employment, pay, scheduling, or any company benefit. Employees opt in either on a signed standalone paper form or verbally, after staff read a word-for-word disclosure script aloud. - Message frequency varies based on job and field activity. Message and data rates may apply.
- You can reply STOP to any message to opt out of text messages at any time, or reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at colt@amdrill.com.
- Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers (such as our hosting, database, email, and SMS-delivery providers) solely to operate this system on our behalf. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Data retention & security
We retain report and contact information for as long as needed to run our business operations and meet recordkeeping requirements, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
